Early Years Learning Framework - EYLF

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) v2.0 2022 is the official early childhood curriculum framework adopted in Australia.  

By following this framework, we are supporting the children in:

Belonging – knowing where and how they fit in
Being – who they want to be right now and enjoying life and relationships
Becoming – the person they will be, as they learn and grow

National Quality Framework - NQF


St James Preschool is fully accredited under the National Quality Framework provided by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority. In 2018 Quality Assessment, the Preschool received an overall quality rating of Meeting the National Quality Standard.

In February 2024 the Preschool was awarded an overall quality rating of EXCEEDING, after rating Exceeding in 6 of the 7 quality areas.
