Both classes for 2025 are now full, however we welcome Waitlist enquiries for 2026 onwards.
WE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR CHILD
From age 1, children may be placed on the waiting list by completing the Waiting List Application form. We like interested families to come for a tour with the Director. These are usually held on a Tuesday morning at 8.40am, and your child is also welcome. We will be in touch with the next available date when you make contact with us. From 2024, a $50 non-refundable application fee is payable when your child's name is placed on the waiting list.
The enrolment procedure for the following year begins in June of the year before. You will be notified by phone and/or email when a place becomes available so it is important to please inform us of any changes to your contact details.
Please note: while children can be placed on the waiting list once they turn 1 year old, they cannot start at St James until after their 3rd birthday, and usually in the calendar year when they are turning 4.
If you wish to proceed once a place is offered, a refundable acceptance bond will become payable to secure the place.
We have families enrol their child from a number of local suburbs including Balgowlah, Seaforth, Manly Vale and Manly. This allows children attending school the following year, to have friends from preschool.
Children and families of all cultural and religious backgrounds are welcome at St James.
